Raiders Sign 35-Year-Old Veteran Guard Richie Incognito to a One-Year Deal

The Raiders have signed veteran guard Richie Incognito to a one-year deal according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

The former Pro-Bowler spent 2018 out of the league in part because of multiple off-field altercations and a brief stint in a mental health facility after he retired, came back, and was cut by the Bills.

Incognito is reportedly “feeling well in all aspects,” however, and was a solid player for the Bills back in 2017.

The Raiders are in need of a starter at left guard and the 35-year-old Incognito’s wealth of physical talent may make him worth a flier even at the age of 35.

While Incognito has played well in stretches for the Rams. Dolphins and Bills, however, he has eventually imploded at every stop due to behavioral issues.
