Suspended Raiders LB Aldon Smith Meets with Goodell About Reinstatement

Aldon Smith

Today suspended Oakland Raiders outside linebacker Aldon Smith met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, as well as other league staff to chat about the chances of being reinstated back into the league.

Smith’s one-year sit down from the NFL ended back on November 17th, but he still has to make sure to get into the good graces of Goodell before he’s allowed back into the league.

He was suspended for violating the league’s rules on substance abuse.

ESPN reports that no decision on reinstatement will be made today. The NFL Network first reported that Smith was meeting with Goodell in New York.
