Raiders loose speedster WR Moore to Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have confirmed that they have signed 5 year WR Danarius Moore to a one year deal.  Terms of the deal have yet to be released.  Loosing Moore is a disappointment for fans of the Silver & Black, but it was apparent that he had been in the dog-house since mid-season last year with Oakland staff.  He saw his playing time diminish and finished the 2014 season with a career low 12 receptions for 115 yards and 0 TDs.  His best season with the Raiders was 2012 when he had 51 catches for 741 yards and 7 TDs.   He finishes his time with Oakland totaling a respectable 142 receptions for 2169 yards and 17 TDs.

By signing with Cincinnati, Moore is reunited with former Oakland head coach Hue Jackson, who is now Bengals offensive coordinator and coached the wideout during his most productive seasons.

This is best for both teams. Hue Jackson knows how to use DMoore, who is really a fly pattern/slant type of route runner; The Raiders need WR’s that can run reliable timing patterns. We lost the ability to use him as a deep threat.
