DJ Hayden returns to Practice

Welcome back DJ Hayden, now it is time to get to work, because the Raiders need you now more than ever. Raiders first round draft pick DJ Hayden is now officially in full participation in Raiders training camp and has been cleared for contact by team doctors. Hayden’s return comes at perfect timing with the Raiders losing starting corner Tracy Porter most likely for the rest of the preseason. DJ Hayden is set to come in and become the starting cornerback opposite side of Mike Jenkins who has also been having a solid preseason. The Raiders success this season will have a lot to due with the success of DJ Hayden and his development. The Raiders secondary is clearly their strong point of their defense and if Hayden becomes a bust the Raiders are in deep trouble. This is a crucial week for Hayden and the Raiders. But the rookie will be getting his first start against the Chicago Bears this Friday night.

DJ Hayden will not be a bust. I will not be surprised however, if he has a bust one day, in Canton, Ohio.
