Janikowski To Finish Career With Raiders

Great news for Raider fans, it looks like the Raiders leading scorer, kicker Sebastian Janikowski will finish his career with the Raiders. The Raiders have signed Janikowski to a five year deal worth around 19 million dollars with 8 million guaranteed. Janikowski, since entering the NFL has been setting record from being the first kicker taken in the first round of the NFL draft to making the longest field goal in overtime, to tieing the NFL all time record for longest field goal. Seabass is entering his 14th season as the Raiders kicker and is believed to be in the NFL for years to come. Janikowski will be entering the 2013 season and will be with out punter Shane Lechler for the first time in his career, veteran Chris Kluwe is the favorite to replace Lechler.

Love it! It bugs me that one of the all-time greatest kickers is routinely left out of the pro bowl. It would be nice to see him get the recognition he deserves!
