NFL Week Fourteen Preview – Denver vs Oakland

The Broncos should have an easy time Thursday in Oakland against a Raiders team whose defense has been one of the worst seen in the NFL in a LONG time.

Right?

Not so fast, as while the Raiders are pretty bad, the Broncos can’t just come in and assume if they throw their helmets on the field it’s game over.

  1. John R. LoRe, Ph.D. says:

These boys have a remarkable amount of fight in them for a team that came into this season with just about every possible disadvantage. This team has a lot of talent, but until we fill the many holes in our roster, and field a team that moves as one unit, we will struggle. We also have a lot of youth. And it seems, great leadership. We need an offensive coordinator whose offense is designed around his players, not a system that asks players to retool their skills to fit into a scheme that makes them mediocre. DMc is one of the most gifted players in the league, period. It is a shame what this O is doing to him. Finally, yes our stadium sucks, but the field sucks worse. How many foot and ankle injuries do we have to sustain before this organization sees this field (which is below sea level) is a detriment. The commissioner comes here and sees what the Raider nation is all about. He says, “wow, these fans are incredible. I Love it here!” And he wants to help. A new stadium built for football, these fans, this legendary organization. Let’s say YES and keep the Raiders here with the greatest fans in professional sports!
