Raiders to Chat with Dolphins Interim Head Coach Todd Bowles

The Raiders will interview Dolphins interim head coach Todd Bowles, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports.

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie fired head coach Hue Jackson on Tuesday. Jackson was 8-8 in his first season as Oakland’s head coach.

An assistant head coach/secondary coach with the Dolphins, the 48-year-old Bowles became the interim head coach last month after the firing of Tony Sparano. The Dolphins were 2-1 under Bowles, who has been with the Dolphins since the 2008 season after previously coaching the Dallas Cowboys’ defensive backs.

Bowles was formally interviewed by the Dolphins last week and the St. Louis Rams have expressed an interest in Bowles.
