Terrelle Pryor’s Suspenion Hearing to Take Place Thursday

Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor’s hearing for his appeal of his 5-game suspension will take place tomorrow according to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network. Pryor is hoping for an expedited decision, and of course is hoping that the league will find in his favor and that he will get the suspension reduced or even taken off the books so he can play now for the 1-0 Raiders.

He should win this appeal hands down. If not, Roger Goodell will have a bunch of explaining to do. Why would he be the first player to receive punishment, from the NFL, for NCAA rule violations? Why was coach Pete Carroll never punished, by the NFL, for his NCAA rule violations? Why was Pryor’s coach, from OSU, never punished by Roger for his NCAA rule violations, as he entered the NFL this year?
Should Roger Goodell consider punishing ex high school players that escaped punishment for violations of high school football progams?

Looks to me like Mr. Goodell will have no choice, but to back off on his punishment of Terrelle Pryor.
