Raiders Workouts to Be Held Down in Atlanta Area

The Oakland Tribune reports that the Raiders workouts that are being put together by quarterback Jason Campbell and defensive tackle Richard Seymour will be held down in the Atlanta area.

Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell and defensive tackle Richard Seymour will run a camp with several teammates in the Atlanta area to get in some work during the NFL lockout.

Campbell revealed plans for the camp in two separate interviews last week without giving the site or time. According to an NFL.com story based on an interview with Campbell, and confirmed by a Raiders player, the camp will be at an undisclosed site in the Atlanta area next Monday through Friday.

Atlanta is close to home for Campbell, who lives in Northern Virginia, and Seymour, who resides in South Carolina. Campbell is organizing the offense and Seymour the defense.

Only players under contract for the 2011 season are expected to attend, which means approximately 25 free agents, including players such as Nnamdi Asomugha, Robert Gallery, Michael Bush and Zach Miller, will not participate.
