Michael Bush: All Indications Look Like He Will Be Back In Silver and Black

In the coming season the Oakland Raiders 2011 running game should look somewhat similar to last season with the addition of rookie running back Taiwan Jones.

Michael Bush and Darren McFadden were the one two punch in 2010 for the Raiders. They each provided the true running attack of the Raiders. But now Bush is a free agent and stuck in the bind like all free agents this off-season due to labor issues.

Therefore, questions are circulating around Raider Nation if Bush will be back in Silver and Black once the labor agreement is in place. Its still unknown whether the team will make a serious attempt to re-sign him.

Head coach, of the Raiders would love to have him resign. Earlier this off-season prior to the lock in place the Raiders assigned first and third-round tender to the free agent-the highest possible tender.

With this its a very good indication the Raiders want their running back Bush back.

Last season with the Raiders the four year veteran ran for 655 total yards and eight rushing touchdowns.

Earlier this off-season right around the Super Bowl Bush was arrested on DUI slightly hurting his chances of signing elsewhere coach Jackson at the time didn’t bark at it and stated the positives of his featured back McFadden.

Nonetheless he is a valuable talent and already has drawn interest to other teams like the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns.  But due to the labor issues and lockout in place,  its unknown if he will be able to test the marketplace.
