It appears without a doubt that former Browns and Seahawks QB Charlie Frye could be back collecting unemployment soon as he is in danger of being cut from the Raiders:
The Oakland Raiders quarterback situation is coming into focus faster than most expected. It likely won’t take all four preseason games for Tom Cable and company to hammer out the depth chart at quarterback. In fact, it sounds like quarterbacks may be among the first cuts at camp. Charlie Frye is not responding to treatment for his sore right hand and will see a specialist this week in hopes of shedding some light on the issue. Cable hinted to reporters that Frye’s days in Oakland may be numbered and the team is getting ready to move on. “We’re going to have some work done here in the next couple of days to see if we can get kind of some decisions made on what we’ve got to do there,” Cable said.
