Raiders Place LB Jon Alston on IR

The Raiders have placed linebacker Jon Alston on injured reserve due to ongoing problems stemming from a concussion, ending his season. Alston has been dealing with post-concussion syndrome, according to published reports. Meanwhile, the Raiders promoted linebacker Slade Norris from the practice squad to the active roster.
