Posted in In the absence of regular starter Greg Ellis last Sunday, right defensive end Matt Shaughnessy had a breakout game against the Chargers, according to the Contra Costa Times. He finished the day with a sack, five tackles and two tackles for loss. With Ellis likely out until at least early December, the rookie will have ample opportunity to follow up on his big day.
