That Must Have Been a Preseason Game, Right?

I’m trying to recall the game from Sunday, as I was one of the handfuls of people that were actually at the game. Was I that inebriated or did the Raiders look that bad? The answer is quite simply, yes.
I questioned last week whether the Raiders have gotten better and has anything changed, and quite simply, it’s no. All the supposed momentum they gained towards the end of last year has digressed, and the one glimmer of hope by acquiring a stud in Richard Seymour has been wasted by an offense that is reaching levels of ineptitude I have never seen before.
Really, 1 yard passing in the 2nd half against pretty much a prevent defense? Was there any wonder why the fans started booing as early as they did during the game?
Tom Cable continues to defend/protect JaMarcus Russell to no end and quickly points out that the rushing game and run D was just as fault in the game. When your starting QB has a passer rating of 30 something, every defense in the league will put 8 in the box and challenge him to throw. And on the other side of the fence, if the other team cannot even get a 1st down to sustain any drive at all, they will continue to just run, run, run, run until that defense gases out. Basic 101 football, do onto the other team which they cannot stop or do.
The fans want the Raiders to play hard and win, no excuses. Time is now for JaMarcus to become a true starting QB; else get someone on the field that gives the fans some hope.
