Is WR Plaxico Burress Worth the Risk?

Ok Raider fan, do you want QB JaMarcus Russell throwing to Plaxico Burress in the 2009 season? It’s worth thinking about, as Burress could fill a void on the roster if he’s allowed to play this season. Scout.com reports that Burress could be worth the risk for the Silver and Black:

There are many reasons for the Raiders to stay clear of Plaxico Burress. Yet there are equally compelling arguments why it would make sense for Al Davis and company to take a risk on the talented but troubled wide receiver. … In Oakland, he would become the unquestioned No. 1 receiver on a unit that is comprised mostly of young and unproven talent.

What do you think?

  1. Mike says:

I think that Burress provides a lot of match up problems for cornerbacks around the NFL, but his hands are average.
