Scout.com is reporting that the Raiders are going to conduct a private workout Cal LB Zach Follett. Word is that he’s also supposed to attend the San Francisco 49ers’ local draft prospect day.
Follett is an All-Pac-10 Conference selection. Last season he had 23 tackles for losses and 10 1/2 sacks.
Follett also talked to the Bills at the Scouting Combine. He comes in at 6?2,” 236-pounds. At the combine, Follett ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds and turned in a 37-inch vertical leap. He bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times at his Pro Day workout.
He is projected to be about a fourth-round draft pick.
