Javon Walker in Danger of Losing Roster Spot?

Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune reports Raiders WR Javon Walker finds himself in a precarious situation after the team selected WR Darrius Heyward-Bey and WR Louis Murphy in the NFL Draft. However, Walker is guaranteed $4.6 million over the next two seasons, which should keep him on the roster for now.

Free Safety Eugene Signs His One-Year Tender

The SF Chronicle is reporting that Raiders free safety Hiram Eugene has officially signed his one-year, $1.01 million restricted free agent tender. He won the starting job from Michael Huff during last season. Last season in 16 games he had 57 tackles, and in two seasons has played in 32 games with 88 tackles.
