ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that the Raiders and DT Tommy Kelly have redone his deal so he can stick around with the club another year. Here is the report:
At a time when some folks speculate that defensive tackle Tommy Kelly will be the next guy who got a bunch of money last year to get the silver-and-black shoe in Oakland, a league source tells us that Kelly will be back. Just last week, the Raiders converted a $4.5 million roster bonus into a guaranteed payment, reducing the cap charge in 2009 resulting from the payment. Kelly also is due to receive a $2.5 million salary in 2009.
