Posted in The Contra Costa Times is reporting a hiring for the Raiders. No, it’s not a head coach. The paper says that the team has brought in former Packers defensive back coach Lionel Washington to coach the Raiders at the same position. He is the only Raiders coach under contract. That is until the team does decide to name a head coach, which we hear should happen before opening day 2009.
