As each day progresses, Oakland’s interim coach Tom Cable watches his chances of getting the full-time job grow, but according to a source, he might get an interview for another head coaching job. Cable, who’s contract expires Jan. 13, is hearing his name associated with a team other than the Raiders, according to the source. His record was 4-8 as the Raiders interim coach, but the team made a strong showing in December, and quarterback JaMarcus Russell improved during the final month of the season.
