All I can say is that it is good to be a Cowboys fan! The pathetic erosion of Al Davis' capabilities as the General Partner of the Raiders is truly sad. Why does a man who states he so desperately wants to win continue to "go cheap" on his head football coaches? If that is his strategy, why does he not spend some money on some coordinators and assistants who can make a difference when he again fires the head coach? This organization is going nowhere!
My only fear, with Davis as his mentor, is that Jerry Jones is about 5 or so years away from joining Al Davis as a man who would be better suited to spend his time betting at the local dog track.

It seems to everyone that Mr. Davis has the 'cause' clause well rehearsed. Who's wrong here.., uhm lets see..? Shanahan earned a few rings when he left the Raiders to coach HIS way at Denver and is still suing that arrogant man, Mr. Davis for his monies DUE. Coach Gruden left the Raider org to coach HIS way in Tampa Bay and EMBARRASED our only chance to win team of 2000. Marcus Allen left for similar reasons. We have a 'great team' a 'team we can win with' but we have a senile, pompus, out of his mind owner that STILL has the balls to charge more for seats while he destroys a talented team just because he says so.

Sorry Raider Fan, this issue is the owner not the coach. How can every coach who has been under this freaks leadership be a poor coach? The old man was once fascinating to watch, now it is just pathetic. The team was playing hard and getting close even with a very young QB. Kiffin will go on to be a fine football coach and Al Davis will sadly be remembered for destroying what he once built. The Raiders are a joke and everyone knows why Al
