CB Hall Has Ligament Damage in Right Hand

Raiders CB DeAngelo Hall has been suffering with a right hand injury for sometime now, and now word is coming out that he has ligament damage in the hand and may have to wear a protective cast for the rest of the preseason.  He hurt the hand during training camp before the first preseason game, and after an MRI and X-ray showed no break, the CB sought a second opinion.  It was then eventually found out it was ligament damage.  “I talked to my doctor and he said I tore some ligaments or something,” Hall said as he walked off the practice field Tuesday. “I don’t know. We’ll see how it goes.”

Hall didn’t play vs the Titans on Friday, but did practice on Tuesday and now has his hand wrapped with a white brace which separates his thumb from his index and middle fingers, which were taped together.  “The problem is he’s got to wear that cast throughout all these practices and probably will still have to have it on this week,” coach Lane Kiffin said. “It’s hard to tackle. It’s hard to be a corner with a cast on, but it’s the situation that it is and we’ll make the best of it.”
