Reports from the Contra Costa Times today state that the Raiders may look to add Paul Hackett to their coaching staff. The report says that Hackett has spoken to coach Lane Kiffin, and that nothing will be official till Kiffin is back from vacation. Hackett will be labeled as an offensive assistant. He also could be a candidate for the head coaching job if Kiffin is shown the door during or after the 2008 season. Last season Hackett was the Buccaneers’ quarterbacks coach, but was not retained for the 2008 season.
