The Raiders have had enough of safety Stuart Schweigert, as the team released him today. He lost his starting job in the middle of the season to Hiram Eugene. The team went out and grabbed free agent Gibril Wilson, and moved Michael Huff to safety, making Schweigert expendable. He was with the team for four seasons. Look for him to sign on with another team rather fast as either a backup safety or solid special teams player, or both.
