The Raiders completed their deal with the Atlanta Falcons yesterday for two-time Pro Bowl cornerback DeAngelo Hall. In exchange for the 24-year-old Hall, Oakland sent its second-round pick in next month’s draft and a fifth-round pick in 2009 to Atlanta. To finalize the deal, the Raiders signed Hall to a seven-year, 70-million-dollar contract while the “San Francisco Chronicle” reports that more than 24-million-dollars is guaranteed. The Raiders have been extremely active in the free-agent market. With receivers Javon Walker and Drew Carter, safety Gibril Wilson, offensive lineman Kwame Harris and defensive tackle William Joseph now signed, Oakland has spent more than 150-million dollars this offseason on free-agent contracts.
