If the Raiders are going to sign free agent quarterback Quinn Gray to be JaMarcus Russell’s backup, they are going to have to fly him in again in order to get the deal done. The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Gray visited with the Raiders on Wednesday, but left Oakland without a deal. The paper says that while Gray is still on the Raiders radar, it’s not a good thing to let him get away without a deal in place. The Packers appear to be the other team hot on the trail of Gray, but like Oakland, he visited them Tuesday and left without a deal. Could there be a third team in the mix that may drive the price up? Stay tuned.
