With Huff on the Block Raiders Want S Wilson

The Raiders made it known earlier this week that S Michael Huff is on the trading block as coaches have been unimpressed with his ability to stop the run. The 7th overall pick in 2006 out of Texas had only one pick in 32 games for the Raiders and has yet to make the impact he did at UT which led to his elite draft status after Texas’ National Championship win.

Thus, the Raiders are looking to fill Huff’s spot with someone who can make those plays. The man to fill that spot could be FA Gibril Wilson, who’s had 11 interceptions in four seasons with the New York Giants. He will be aggressively pursued by the Raiders and owner Al Davis. Wilson, 26, is a Bay Area native who played high school football for Oak Grove High. He is being sought after by the Eagles, Jaguars and Falcons, but the Raiders plan on making an early move on Wilson to bring him back home. Wilson is looking for at least $5 million a season and at least $11 million guaranteed. We all know Al Davis would be willing to pay any amount for what he wants.

Why would they wanna trade Huff?! Makes no sense get rid of Stu he misses more tackles then anybody on the team. Also the reason Huff hasnt made an impact is they dont have him playing his natural position!
