Raiders Coaches to Head North Team in the Senior Bowl
Posted by Matt Loede on January 8th, 2008 filed in NewsThe NFL said Monday that the Raiders coaching staff will man the sidelines for the North Team in the Senior Bowl. According to the Raiders’ website, this marks the fourth time that members of the “Silver and Black” will coach in the annual college football all-star game. The Raiders also took part in the Senior Bowl in 1992, 1999, and 2005. The Senior Bowl is considered one of football’s top predraft events and all 32 of the league’s general managers, head coaches and other front office personnel from the NFL will be in attendance. The 50th annual Senior Bowl from Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama is scheduled for January 26th. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Pacific, and the game will be televised by the NFL Network.
