Saga Over the Status of Ryan to be Talked About This Week

According to former NFL GM Charlie Casserly, the Raiders have yet to make a decision on the fate of defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, and Al Davis and Lane Kiffin will meet this week to talk about the situation. The back and forth situation with Ryan has been a hot button issue for the Silver and Black, as at first it was being widely reported that Ryan was fired and the team would look for a new coordinator. Then, in an about face the team put out a presser saying Ryan’s firing was not true, and that he would be staying on. Then there was a report saying that Davis was the one that blocked Ryan being canned, and that there was some issues between he and Kiffin over the matter. Bottom line, for now Ryan is the defensive coordinator. As for tomorrow - your guess is as good as mine.
