Fargas Hurt in Loss to Colts
Posted by Matt Loede on December 17th, 2007 filed in NewsRunning back Justin Fargas could miss the final two games of the season after suffering a knee injury during Sunday’s 21-14 loss to Indianapolis. Fargas had just tied the game with a tough two-yard run for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter but was seen moments later on the training table behind the bench. The 27-year old Fargas would not return and was later described to have suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL). Fargas finished the day with 26 carries for 89 yards– pushing him over the 1,000-yard plateau (1,009) for the first time in his five-year NFL career. LaMont Jordan and Dominic Rhodes are expected to split time in the backfield for the remainder of the season.
