Ray Guy

Three major Oakland Raiders players are on the Hall of Fame list– quarterback Ken Stabler, cornerback Lester Hayes and punter Ray Guy. Stabler helped lead the Raiders to a victory in Super Bowl 11 while Hayes was a two-time Super Bowl winner and still has the record for single-season interceptions with 13 in 1980. As for Ray Guy, he’s considered the standard for all punters who’ve come after him in the NFL. The Class of 2008 will be announced on Saturday, February 2nd, the day before Super Bowl 42 in Phoenix.
