Dayne and the Texans Top Raiders 24-17

Former Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne galloped for 122 yards and a score to lead the Texans over the Raiders 24-17 at McAfee Coliseum. Sage Rosenfels threw for 181 yards with a touchdown and an interception as Houston upped their record to 4-and-5 on the season. Oakland’s Josh McCown passed for 158 yards and a touchdown but was picked off three times. Justin Fargas racked up 104 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Sabastian Janikowski booted two fields in defeat as Oakland slipped to 2-and-6.
