Raiders-Texans Game Blacked Out; Viewers to See Pats-Colts

If you are looking to see the Raiders-Texans game in the Oakland area, you had better buy a ticket.  The game is going to be blacked out locally, as instead of the Raiders game, viewers will be able to watch Sunday’s super matchup between the 8-0 Patriots and the 7-0 Colts.  Thursday’s announcement that the Raiders failed to sell out Sunday’s game in advance of the league-mandated deadline 72 hours before kick-off  means 96 percent of the nation is slated to receive coverage of the Patriots-Colts clash, with only the Houston and Cleveland markets shut out.   Sixty seven of Oakland’s 100 regular-season home games since it returned to Oakland in 1995 have been blacked out.
