Another AFC West matchup, another loss. Larry Johnson ran 24 times for 112 yards and a touchdown and Oakland native Jarrad Page intercepted a Daunte Culpepper pass with 35 seconds remaining as the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Oakland Raiders, 12-10, at McAfee Coliseum. Damon Huard finished 16-of-31 passing for 177 yards for the Chiefs, who improved to 4-and-3 on the season. With the victory, Kansas City became the first team to win nine straight games against Oakland. Culpepper went 18-of-29 passing for 228 yards and a touchdown while Zach Miller caught four passes for 48 yards for the Raiders, who dropped to 2-and-4. The Raiders have lost 12 consecutive games at home to AFC West opponents and 17 in-a-row against the AFC West overall– the longest such streak between division opponents since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The Raiders are in Nashville this Sunday to battle the Tennessee Titans.
