Running back LaMont Jordan is a no-go for tomorrow’s game at San Diego against the 2-3 Chargers. Reports state that the back issue that faces Jordan is not better, and Lane Kiffin said on Friday that the back is “worse than ever” so he will be deactivated for the contest. That puts the running back pressure on backs Justin Fargas as well as returning back Dominick Rhodes, who returns after a four-game suspension. CNN/SI injury expert Will Carroll told us that it’s likely that both backs will see carries on Sunday. This also puts the pressure on QB Daunte Culpepper, who will simply have to make more plays throwing the football than he did against the Dolphins two weeks ago. Despite the win there, the Raiders passing game continues to be stuck in the mud, and they are going to need a lot more out of it if they are going to stay competitive in the AFC West.
