Jordan Goes Down With Injury

The Raiders picked up a huge victory on Sunday, but may have lost their top running back for the near future. LaMont Jordan was forced to leave Sunday’s game at Miami during the second quarter with a back injury. Jordan caught a 12-yard pass from Daunte Culpepper and failed to get up after being tackled while reaching for the first-down marker. The seven-year veteran, who needed help from his coaches and medical staff to leave the field, finished the day with 15 rushes for 74 yards. Even though the Raiders are off this weekend, Jordan’s status for Oakland’s next game on October 14th at San Diego is officially listed as “questionable.” The 28-year-old Jordan has rushed for 350 yards and two touchdowns this season.
