Raiders Open Preseason Schedule Tomorrow

McCown listens to his coaches

It may be hard to believe, but football season is here.  Alright, it’s just the “preseason” version of NFL football but for gridiron fans, it’s will suffice.  The Oakland Raiders begin the exhibition schedule tomorrow evening at home against the Arizona Cardinals.  While tomorrow’s matchup provides the first opportunity for the Raiders to erase the memories of a disasterous 2-and-14 season, many questions remain for the “Silver and Black”– mainly, who’ll be the starting quarterback once the regular season begins.  With top draft pick JaMarcus Russell out of training camp while the team and his agent try to hammer out a contract, a three-way battle for the starting spot between Josh McCown, Andrew Walter and recently signed veteran Duante Culpepper continues to garner some Bay Area sports headlines.  Kickoff from McAfee Coliseum is set for 7 p.m.
