Fans of the “Silver and Black” will get their first chance to see the 2007 version of the Raiders this afternoon as the team holds its third annual “Raider Nation Celebration” at McAfee Coliseum. Festivities begin at four o’clock and fans will have the opportunity to meet Raider legends and the famous Raiderettes. New head coach Lane Kiffin will then introduce the coaching staff and current players. Events also include interactive kids games and a Hall of Fame area featuring all three Super Bowl trophies. Admission to the “Raider Nation Celebration” is free to season ticket holders while non-ticket holders will be admitted for just five dollars. All children under 14 will also be admitted free. The Raiders begin the preseason schedule this Saturday evening at home against the Arizona Cardinals. Kiffin announced yesterday that Josh McCown will get the start at quarterback.
