Raiders Sign Running Back Michael Bush

Just in time for today’s opening of training camp, the Oakland Raiders signed running back Michael Bush to a contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Bush was the team’s fourth-round draft pick, taken with the 100th overall selection out of the University of Louisville. He started last season as a Heisman Trophy candidate and a potential first-round pick, but a broken leg in the Cardinal’s season-opener forced him to miss the entire year. Bush ran for 1,143 yards and led the nation with 23 touchdowns as a junior in 2005.
