Raiders Sign 2nd Round Pick Frampton

Framton was the Raiders second pick in the fifth round of the 2007 draft. The 5′11″ 205 pound safety was a Pac-10 All Conference player in 2006 for Washington State and was also named the teams 2006 Defensive MVP. Said Framton ” It feels good for everything to be solidified and for me to be able to focus on what I need to do.” Frampton will report to Raider training camp this week 7-26 at the Raiders Napa Valley Training Complex. His first chance to play will be in front of Raider Nation in the Raiders 2007 pre-season opener at McAfee Saturday August 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.
